Quagga Inspection Services recognizes the importance of sending a clear and consistent message throughout the US about the impacts of spreading invasive species including Quagga and Zebra mussels. We have committed to spreading the Department of Fish and Game’s message of “Don’t Move a Mussel” and “Drain, Clean, and Dry” boating, as well as the “Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers” campaign managed by the 100th meridian program. Printed education materials will be available for all visitors at our inspection areas.
We will also coordinate with our agency partners to arrange public education sessions to inform our guests of the impacts of Quagga Mussels and how they can help “stop the spread.”
